Olay Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elixir

Exfoliation is an essential practice that should be included in your regular skincare routine for obtaining a fresh looking and soft skin. There are many reasons for which one should do exfoliation and there is no limitation basing on the skin type. Both oily and dry and even the normal skin holders can do exfoliation of their skin to get rid of their particular skin problems.

For the ones with oily skin, exfoliation is necessary to remove the sebum that appears quite frequently from the sebaceous glands based on face. Sebum is generally good for the skin as it keeps holding the water of skin by retaining it soft and supple nature but its overproduction will lead to several issues like white heads, black heads, pimples and loss of oxygen to the skin cells. So, exfoliation releases the skin cells and frees it from being clogged by sebum.

People with dry skin should do exfoliation for removing the dead and dry skin cells and cleaning the skin. So, the dead cells that were jamming and covering the skin from gaining the moisture treatment will be eliminated. Too much of pollution and sun burn too makes the skin looks pale and ashy which can very well be cleared through exfoliation.

When it is about choosing the right exfoliate, one must keep in mind her skin type and her age. There are natural home made scrubs, wash clothes and mild scrubs available in the market which will go good for the soft and young skin. However, the ones reaching the middle ages can get exfoliates with BHA. BHA is salicylic acid and is good for cleaning the outer layer of skin together with also going inside the pore to clean the stuffs blocking the skin cells.

While buying an exfoliate you can check the ingredients list where you must find components like BHA, a pH and salicylic acid etc. of which the salicylic acid should be high in quantity. A few products that can be preferred for your skin care with exfoliation are Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel Exfoliant for oily skin costing $18.95 and Olay’s Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elixir ($29.99).
