You agree or not, one thing is for sure; none of us want those ugly looking dark spots and skin-damages. However, whenever such a situation comes, then one tends to look for ways to lighten the skin tone. Whether you are dusky or fair in skin complexion, all types of complexion are beautiful unless there are no skin damages. Skin damages can arise anytime and then the best thing would be to try natural ways of lightening skin complexion.

  • Sunblock: One of the easiest and most widely used way to lighten the skin complexion is using a sun block cream. Try using a moisturizer with SPF 15 or more and apply it every morning after a face wash before stepping out of home. Sunblock helps preventing your skin from getting darker.
  • Licorice Extract: This is a natural skin whitener made of glabridin. Applying its thin layer regularly each morning and evening after face wash helps lightening the skin tone. Make sure that the bottle of this extract is stored in a cook and dark place to maintain its freshness.
  • Mask: Natural and homemade mask is a good way of lightening skin complexion. Just mix a tablespoon of sandalwood paste, tomato juice, cucumber juice and lemon juice and apply on face as a paste. Wash it when it dries to see your skin glowing naturally.
