Some of us really underestimate how it is important to apply the lipstick properly. We treat our lips for granted and think that the wrong ways of applying it simply DO not exist. Oh my God, how wrong they are …

Get the following points and avoid lipstick crimes:

• ring around the moth

Lip liner should emphasize your beauty but it shouldn’t be blatant and vulgar and it can’t be obvious as well. Select a shade that is close either to your natural lip colour or to a colour of a lipstick you are going to apply. Don’t make too harsh outline.

• lipstick mustache

It looks great only if everybody knows that year 5-year-old daughter was your makeup artist today. Avoid such looks and unfashionable colour creep.

• chapped lips

Chapped lips with parts of dead skin and a lipstick on them look really dowdy. In order to save the situation you have to gently rub your lips with a damp washcloth or a soft toothbrush, then apply a coat balm and only afterwards colour them. During the day apply some balm to keep lips moist.

I think you understand what I am talking about … Too bright and vulgar lipstick can make a whore out of a normal girl. Even if you want to emphasize your fantastic lips, then make the rest of the makeup neutral.
